Let Your Voice Be Heard!

Security is mostly a superstition.
It does not exist in nature ...
Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.

Three new writers showed up at
The Tega Cay Writer's Group today.
When I asked how they heard about our group,
one of the ladies handed me a newspaper.
"From this week's article in the Fort Mill Times."

When I glanced at the article,
what did my eyes behold? Me!
There I was in the picture,
gabbing away full force at anyone who would listen.
After the meeting, I met Aunt Eunice in the Walmart parking lot and proudly shoved the article in her face.
"So what do you think of your niece now?" I asked.
She stared at the picture.
"From the look on your face, it looks like you were hittin' the moonshine that day, and believe me,
there's nothin' worse than a drunk writer."
I grabbed the newspaper from her hand, but that didn't stop her. "Second, if you were sober, then I advise you to
call Jane Fonda's plastic surgeon immediately."
As I walked to my car, she yelled,
"Hey! Can you set me up with that cutie who was
sitting next to you?"

After Aunt Eunice's free advise,
I rushed home to show my man the article.
He smiled. "Hon, that's great, but you must always remember
to smile at all times, and hold your head way up."
As you can see,
I am very blessed to have such a positive support group.

Now I must write the WIN blog.
There's no telling what other inspirational words I'll receive before I finish that one. Until next time,

I wish you oceans of blessings, and remember, if you're pushing 60, don't forget to hold that head way up!

God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure,
shares with us the life of His Son,
and our master Jesus.
I Corinthians 1:7

Note: After e-mailing some of my close friends this article, I just received an e-mail from my friend who asked, "Sharon, are you coming out of the closet?" I quickly answered, "Shirley, its The Tega CAY Writers, NOT Tega GAY Writers!"
Shirley, you really need to wear your glasses!
